As we head into June, the Scottsdale real estate market is continuing to shift into a more balanced and opportunity-filled season for both buyers and sellers. While the fast-paced frenzy of the past few years has cooled, the market remains active, especially in desirable Scottsdale neighborhoods where lifestyle, location, and updated homes continue to stand out.

Inventory has gradually increased compared to earlier this year, giving buyers more options and slightly more negotiating power. Homes that are priced correctly and presented well are still moving, but buyers are taking more time, comparing properties carefully, and expecting value. This means strategic pricing, strong marketing, and professional presentation are more important than ever for sellers entering the market this summer.

For buyers, June could be one of the best windows we’ve seen in a while. More available homes, less intense competition, and motivated sellers are creating opportunities that were difficult to find over the last few years. Interest rates continue to be something everyone is watching closely, but many buyers are adjusting to the “new normal” and deciding that waiting indefinitely no longer makes sense, especially in a market as desirable as Scottsdale.

Luxury real estate in Scottsdale also continues to show resilience. High-end buyers are still actively searching for properties that offer lifestyle amenities, privacy, modern updates, and proximity to golf, dining, and entertainment. Well-maintained and move-in-ready homes continue to attract strong attention.

Looking ahead, June typically brings a slight seasonal slowdown as temperatures rise and families begin summer travel plans, but serious buyers and sellers remain active. This often creates a more relaxed environment for negotiations and smoother transactions overall.

This past month was packed with good food, great company, and one unforgettable concert night.

I kicked the month off at a rib cook-off, and honestly, there were so many amazing options that picking a favorite felt nearly impossible. Every option somehow topped the last. Let’s just say I definitely didn’t leave hungry.

One evening during a work event with colleagues, we were treated to one of those moments you just can’t plan for. A beautiful rainbow appeared across the sky and then slowly turned into a double rainbow. It made an already great night feel even more special.

But the absolute highlight of the month was going to the Yungblud concert with my friend Susan. We had such an amazing time. At one point, he walked right past us while singing, which made the whole experience feel surreal.

And surprisingly, the opening acts completely stole the show too. Emily Wolfe opened and was incredible. Then came The Warning, a Mexican heavy metal band made up of three sisters, and they absolutely crushed it. I’ll be honest, I’m usually not someone who gets super excited about opening acts, but both performances completely impressed me.

It was definitely a month full of memorable moments, and I’m looking forward to seeing what summer brings next.
