FEBRUARY 2025

February in Scottsdale, Arizona, is a vibrant month for real estate and local activities, attracting buyers and visitors alike. The spring market heats up, showcasing a variety of properties, from luxury homes to cozy condos. Open houses and property tours allow prospective buyers to explore unique architectural styles and stunning desert landscapes.

This month also features exciting events like the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show and various art festivals, enhancing the community’s charm. With mild temperatures and an active outdoor scene, Scottsdale’s real estate market thrives alongside leisure activities.

If you’re considering buying, pay attention to interest rates, inventory levels, and home prices. A competitive market with rising prices might encourage purchases before costs rise further. For sellers, factors such as local demand and the overall economy are crucial. It could be beneficial to consult with a local real estate expert for tailored insights.

Valentine’s Day adds a romantic touch, with special dinners and events that make the city feel vibrant. Buyers can sense the community’s atmosphere, while sellers might enhance their home’s appeal with Valentine’s-themed staging to attract more interest. This season can influence market activity as people consider major decisions about their future together.

Did you know that the original name of Scottsdale was Orangedale? Or that the mascot of the original high school was the Beavers? This past month, I guided 35 members of Scottsdale’s Women’s Council of REALTOR’s on a historic walking tour of Old Scottsdale. The history of Old Scottsdale is fascinating, and I love taking people on a historical journey. It’s so enjoyable to teach others about the history of this incredible place where we live.
