OCTOBER 2025

This week officially kicks off the beginning of season for activities and visitors in our city. There were over 100 Ambassadors who gathered for training to prepare us for the season ahead. After group training, we were broken into smaller groups to tour the Western Museum in Old Town Scottsdale. The exhibits are always changing, and it won’t be long before the expansion is open to the public. It was so fun to reconnect with everyone and meet the newest volunteer members. I can’t wait to be part of welcoming and supporting our community again this season.

Volunteering is so important to me—not only as a way to give back, but also as a way to stay connected to the people and places that make our city so special. As both a community member and a realtor, I believe building strong connections is what makes Old Town thrive. I’m grateful for the chance to serve, meet new people, and help make our community even stronger.

With my grandbabies starting school, I can’t help but reflect on how quickly time moves. It feels like just yesterday they were taking their first steps, and now they’re walking into classrooms, beginning an entirely new chapter of their lives. Watching them grow has been such a joy, but it’s also a gentle reminder that the days may feel long, yet the years are truly short.

Moments like this remind me to slow down, soak in the laughter, the conversations, and even the ordinary routines that make up our days. Life moves fast, and it’s easy to get caught up in the busyness, but cherishing the little things—the smiles, the milestones, and the time spent together—is what matters most.

As a parent, grandparent, and a realtor, I see every day how important it is to create spaces where these memories can unfold. Homes aren’t just walls and roofs; they’re where life’s moments—big and small—are lived and remembered. My grandbabies starting school is another reminder for me to be present, to celebrate change, and to hold on tightly to the moments that matter most.
